Gorenje launches stunning new induction hobs

Gorenje, the Slovenian manufacturer famed for its creative and innovative design, seals its reputation for quality products with the launch of its new induction hob range for 2010.

Gorenje’s induction hobs effortlessly blend contemporary, ultra-chic design with dynamic functionality, resulting in a superior range that will satisfy the most discerning culinary wizard.

With the benefits of induction cooking increasingly becoming recognised, the consumer is more aware of the real advantages offered when they choose induction. Twice as fast as gas, with great speed of response, induction is the most efficient, and safe, form of hob cooking, and it is easy to keep clean too!

Gorenje has introduced three new induction hobs including the top of the range IT741AC, a real class-leader.  Finished in beautiful black glass ceramic, it hosts a wide variety of impressive features including:

Key features and benefits of the Gorenje IT741AC induction hob:

  • Four induction cooking zones, operated by electronic touch control.
  • BoilControl: The BoilControl function prevents pot’s contents from boiling over. It automatically adjusts the temperature of each HiLight cooking zone. After initial operation at maximum heat, the hob regulates the temperature at the pre-set level.  Saucepans will never boil over ever again!
  • Powerboost function: heats up extra fast, further enhancing the performance of the induction hob, and delivering additional time savings.
  • Easy control: The thoughtful positioning and size of the control symbols on the hob ensure excellent visibility and thus enable even simpler operation of the hob and control over cooking.
  • StopGo: Provides maximum convenience. This feature allows the consumer to temporarily suspend the cooking process if unexpectedly called away. One touch of the StopGo key freezes all settings, giving the user time to answer the door or deal with an emergency. All active heating zones are temporarily switched off until reactivated by the StopGo key.
  • Safety control hob lock
  • Free 5-year parts and labour guarantee for added-value and peace of mind
  • Dimensions: H x W x D: 46 x 770 x 520 mm

Ruth Ferguson, Marketing Manager of Gorenje, says: “Gorenje’s new induction hobs offer the consumer true versatility, with a range of sizes and shapes to suit any kitchen. As ever, our distinctive and creative design is backed up by superior functionality, which is safe and fast, proving that induction is a serious contender for the prestigious title of hob fuel of choice.

Combining fantastic good looks with great value and the latest technology, Gorenje again demonstrates it is a brand that is desirable, and also trustworthy thanks to the impressive free five year parts and labour guarantee.”
