A Good Industrial Design (GIO) Award is the hallmark of superior industrial design in the Netherlands. Winning products must demonstrate commercial strength of design to be eligible for an award. Alongside aesthetics, the products are also assessed for functionality, ergonomics, originality and choice of materials.
ATAG has received GIO Awards for four of its 2011 products; the HG1111MDB panoramic gas on glass hob with digital timers; the ES1211UAM Air Logic Futura island cooker hood; the ES1211NAM Air Logic Waal island cooker hood; and the WS9011MR DuoLogic cooker hood. These products ably demonstrate the refined and functional design expected of all ATAG appliances, with advanced technological innovation such as ATAG’s new Air Logic HR® System for quiet, efficient extraction.
