Andrew Jordan, the professional racing driver sponsored by Gorenje, has begun the second half of this year’s BTCC season with a superb win.
The season resumed at Snetterton, Norfolk, on Sunday 12th August 2012, with Andrew taking first place after an exciting second race, making this his first win of the season. It had already been a good season so far for the Pirtek racing team member, and he has begun the second session of the season leading the Independents Trophy and holding fourth place in the overall rankings. Andrew scored strongly in 13 of the 15 races of the first half of the season, and his tally includes four podiums, while only three times has he not been in the top six in the fiercely competitive BTCC.
Andrew drives a state of art Honda Civic from Pirtek Racing, which features the Gorenje logo on the front-side and tail-end. Gorenje has sponsored Andrew throughout the season, with its logo also appearing on the garage boards, hero cards, posters and race truck, providing excellent visibility for the brand.
