InSinkErator® Extends Campaigning to Social Media

InSinkErator®, the global leader in food waste disposers, and a major player in steaming hot water taps, is extending its online campaign strategy to include the use of social media.

To celebrate the launch of the new social media venture InSinkErator® is hosting a European competition through the Facebook page. Consumers simply have to watch an online video of a London taxi liveried with InSinkErator® branding, and name the five iconic London locations. Those successful in identifying the locations will be entered into the drawer, with the opportunity to win an InSinkErator® HC3300 steaming hot water tap.

InSinkErator® is utilising social media to engage further with consumers and educate them on the benefits of food waste disposers and steaming hot water taps. It will also offer consumers an instant form of contact with the company and discover hints and tips on how to get the best from InSinkErator® products.

Ashley Munden, Managing Director, Europe, for InSinkErator®, says: “Venturing into the realms of social media will allow InSinkErator® to become more visible to consumers across the globe. It also means that we are able to directly connect and engage with our audience and receive essential feedback from our consumers. Social media is now an essential part of business strategy, and we a very excited about the launch of a Facebook page.”
