Hotpoint Appliances Featured on Channel 4’s ‘Old House, New Home’

Two major cooking appliances from Hotpoint have been featured on ‘George Clarke’s Old House, New Home’, which was broadcast on Channel 4 on Thursday 26th July 2018.

Episode two of the home renovation series, which has so far received 1.24 million views, saw the entire renovation of a Victorian terrace house in Stratford-upon-Avon. The renovated kitchen, designed by famed architect George Clarke, featured a kitchen with grey gloss cabinets and decorative copper glass tiles complete with a built-in Hotpoint Class 9 pyrolytic oven (SI9 891 SP IX) and a black glass 600 mm induction hob (CIU 642 F B).

‘Old House, New Home’ sees George Clarke transform a series of British homes. Each episode features two different makeovers, with emphasis placed on design dilemmas that are proving to be difficult to solve. The results produce a stunning modern look in a period home, which proves it is possible to create a perfect blend of both old and new.

Available exclusively to purchase through the independent retail channel, the built-in multifunction pyrolytic oven is part of the top-of-the-range Class 9 suite of built-in cooking appliances. The Class 9 range matches a modern state-of-the-art aesthetic, with clean lines and a refined appearance that add a touch of sophistication and prestige to the kitchen. The suite features a contemporary and minimalist design that is crafted from quality materials. Black glass and stainless steel boast a sophisticated and elegant design and the range features intuitive controls and extraordinary performance, which helps the user care for the things that matter the most.

Jennifer Taylor, Head of Brand, Hotpoint says: “The opportunity to provide ‘Old House, New Home’ with appliances from Hotpoint has placed the brand in front of 1.24 million consumers. This is beneficial for increasing brand awareness, as the activity is supported by a dedicated website. We hope the exposure of the Class 9 collection will increase footfall for our independent retail partners, as the range is available to purchase exclusively through the independent retail channel.”
