Indesit Wins Two Best Baby and Toddler Gear Awards

Indesit Wins Two Best Baby and Toddler Gear Awards

The Indesit eXtra dishwasher with dedicated BabyCare Cycle (DFP 27T96 Z UK) has won two awards, gold and consumer choice, in the Best Baby and Toddler Gear Awards 2018.

Organised by Mumii.co.uk, a website dedicated to parenting, the Best Baby and Toddler Gear Awards recognise the very best products designed to support parents and their little ones. The Indesit eXtra dishwasher (DFP 27T96 Z UK) was nominated in the Most Innovative Household Product category and came out on top with the two accolades.

The dishwasher received the gold award following comparative testing by both industry experts and consumer testers. Indesit also won the consumer choice award following an online vote in which consumers could choose their favourite product from each category.

The Indesit eXtra dishwasher is perfect for families, especially those with babies and toddlers. It features a dedicated BabyCare cycle, a unique programme that eliminates 99.9999 per cent of bacteria1 to ensure optimal cleaning and drying results of baby items2. Boasting an ‘A++’ energy rating and seven programmes to choose from, the dishwasher comes with a unique BPA-free3 BabyZoo accessory set, designed to neatly stack and secure baby items, including teats and dummies, in the dishwasher with ease.

Furthermore, the dishwasher has been designed to operate quietly and benefits from a low noise output of just 46 dB(A). This eases the pressure of modern-day life, as the appliance can run quietly in the background. It also has a handy Start Delay option, which makes the Indesit dishwasher ideal for those who have access to less expensive energy tariffs at night, and thanks to its low noise output, the dishwasher won’t disturb or wake the family.

Sara Bazeley, Brand Manager, Indesit, says: “We are thrilled to have won two Best Baby and Toddler Gear Awards. Indesit appliances are designed to make family life easier and these awards truly empower what the brand stands for. The eXtra dishwasher is efficient, flexible and provides stress-free solutions to washing-up in the busy family home.

“We hope that winning these awards will highlight and encourage parents to choose Indesit when selecting a new appliance. Retailers will have access to point of sale material to alert consumers of the accolades. The point of sale material is available from your Indesit account manager.”

1 Test performed by an independent institute

2 For total sterilisation of your baby items, Indesit recommends an additional clean using a sterile solution

3 BPA-free: BPA or bisphenol A, an estrogen-imitating chemical, is often used to produce reusable plastic products, such as baby bottles, toddler sippy cups and plastics you might use for storing leftover food. It is being phased out of plastic packaging due to fears it may disrupt our hormones.
