New oven capacity and energy efficiency from Whirlpool

Whirlpool, the world’s leading manufacturer of major home appliances has improved its Fusion built-in oven, increasing the capacity to a huge 73-litres and an energy rating of ‘A-20%’.

Whirlpool’s popular Fusion oven features a perfect blend of design and sophisticated state-of-the-art technology. The collection combines steel and glass that is sleek and integrated with an advanced user interface.

The new large capacity Fusion oven with its upgraded energy rating of ‘A-20%’ offer the retailer extra value at point of sale, alongside the numerous benefits thanks to Whirlpool’s innovative technology. Whirlpool’s clever and intuitive patented 6th Sense technology senses the weight of food in the oven and automatically adapts and controls the cooking process to ensure perfect results, ideal for the ever busy consumer.

The Whirlpool Cook3 system means a consumer can cook on three levels simultaneously, without transferring flavours, and with the AKZM 656/IX oven now featuring an increased capacity to 73-litres, it allows for extra space for larger items. The Fusion line also features the Whirlpool Ready2Cook convection system, taking away the need to pre-heat the oven, offering 20 per cent energy saving advantages.

Juliana Sado, Brand Marketing Manager for Whirlpool, says: “The Fusion built-in oven is now bigger and better than ever. The improved energy rating will save the consumer money while the increased capacity allows for larger items to be cooked, which will be of huge benefit for busy families.”

“At Whirlpool we are dedicated to improving the efficiency of all our appliances, not only to benefit the consumer, but to also reduce the planet’s carbon footprint, and this is another excellent step forward.”
