Triple Which? Best Buys for Whirlpool

Whirlpool has recently received three Which? Best Buy awards for its MAX 109 microwave, the new WWDC 7410 washing machine and the company’s AKR 503 IX decorative curved glass canopy hood.

The Whirlpool MAX 109 microwave is one of the new line-up from the MAX microwave oven range. Which? commented: ‘A defining feature of this microwave is the sensor cooking option, called 6th Sense Steam. We tested this sensor using the steamer to cook a dish of broccoli and carrots and the results were good for both.’

Summing up Which? said: ‘Good at heating and defrosting and plenty of automatic programmes, sensor cooking.’
The new Whirlpool WWDC 7410 washing machine with 6th Sense control achieved a Which? Best Buy for its ‘Great cleaning, efficient rinse and spin, useful LCD and time-remaining display, energy and water efficiency.’

Finally, Which? recommended the Whirlpool AKR 503IX as a Best Buy. The consumer champion said that the hood was ‘…great at sucking out smells from a kitchen and good at extracting grease from the air.’

“These are brilliant results from an eclectic cross section of appliances from our portfolio. Which? is recognised as the best in the business for recommending reliable appliances that do the job they are built to do. To receive three Best Buys in succession is a fabulous accolade,” comments Dean McKelvie, Product Marketing Manager, Freestanding.
