Hotpoint and Indesit, part of the Whirlpool UK Appliances Limited group, has provided two fridges and a freezer to a café owned by Laura Hamilton, best known for presenting Channel 4’s A Place in the Sun, and her husband Alex Goward.
Laura has reinstated the Post Office in Upper Woodcote Village, Purley, and is now officially the registered Post Mistress. The Post Office, Lord Roberts on The Green, now offers customers a coffee shop and convenience store, with a selection of wonderful artisan produce.
Hotpoint has provided two under counter freestanding fridges, the RLA36G, in a modern graphite finish. With a storage capacity of 146 litres, which consists of three glass shelves, a large salad drawer and four door balconies, there is plenty of flexible storage to organise food, ideal for the café environment.
Indesit donated the UIAA 12 S (UK).1 freezer in silver, which benefits from SuperFreeze, a function that lowers the temperature to its lowest value for a short period of time. This is used to accelerate the freezing process of fresh food, preserving their original qualities.
